Singapore’s Gardens By The Bay—a revered tourist spot—has been crowned the world’s most popular and photographed flower garden on Instagram, as per a research by Titan Travel, a British tour operator and travel site.
Titan Travel compiled a list of the world’s most beautiful flower gardens based on online data, including Google searches, Tripadvisor reviews mentioning ‘beautiful’, and social media tags.

Earlier in June, Titan Travel released a list of the world’s prettiest flower gardens on its website. On this list by Titan Travel, the top three spots were taken by USA’s Longwood Gardens, Japan’s Shinjuku Gyoen and New Zealand’s Pukekura Park. While Singapore Botanic Gardens came in seventh, Gardens By The Bay occupied the eighth position.
Although the Gardens By The Bay ranked eighth on the ‘prettiest’ list, they more than compensated by taking the title of ‘most popular on Instagram’, as this was the only garden with over one million tagged posts on the social media platform. By way of this, Gardens By The Bay singlehandedly beat both London’s UNESCO World Heritage site Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, and Tokyo’s Shinjuku Gyoen, both of which have 700,000 posts with their hashtags on Instagram. Additionally, Gardens By The Bay was also tagged more than 27,500 times on TikTok.

Gardens By The Bay is among the most-loved tourist destinations in Singapore for a sea of reasons. Be it the sky-embracing vertical gardens called Supertree Grove, Flower Dome (the largest glass greenhouse in the world), and the world’s tallest indoor waterfall inside Cloud Forest. Additionally, the destination regularly holds light and sound shows, art installations, and cultural events to enthral the visitors.
